This was by far the best Italian food we have ever had. Very exquisite, with the freshest and finest ingredients, cooked to perfection. We are in town only two days and are going back again before we leave. The waiters are top notch, and know the menu items as well as the specials for the day. They were all very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere has a beatiful Italian feel and very pleasant.
It has a beautiful location in Liberty Station, excellent service, and incredible food. We were a bieparty of 12. The timing of every aspect of our experience was perfect. Everyone's menu selection looked delicious. I plan to return soon.
Everytime we come it’s a perfect experience. From beautiful setting, amazing staff and the FOOD is delicious and memorable. My favorite is Risotto scallops and the moscato. But our family members get a variety of things and have enjoyed tasting them. Even the children menu pizza is amazing. Can’t boast enough about this place. If passing through or live in the area, this is a must stop place to eat!!
Impeccable and vegetarian friendly. I feel lucky to have stumbled onto this place. Everything was perfect down to the rosemary infused bread. Delicious. They also have a very wide selection of wine by the glass and bottle. In fact their interior walls and wine room are lined with boutique bottles.
My partner and I visited this restaurant a few weekends ago and had an amazing time. The fettuccini and pistachio creme brulee were both incredible. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were out of this world. Our waitress was incredibly polite and friendly, and we had a wonderful conversation with our lovely waitress & the Restaurant owner himself! We are excited to come back to try the wine experience!

The restaurant’s charm and history make it a perfect place to relive this iconic moment from the film. While you’re there, treat yourself to their incredible Italian cuisine—authentic, flavorful, and made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It’s a great spot to enjoy amazing food while soaking up a little cinematic history!
With a couple of hours to spare before a gathering, we decided to grab a bite at Liberty Station. Hungry and unsure of what we were craving, we parked and began wandering in search of food. My wife mentioned an Italian restaurant she had tried years ago, and I was immediately on board. As we strolled, she asked what I was in the mood for. Half-joking, I said, “Lobster!” Little did I know how perfect that answer would be. She led us to Solare, a charming spot tucked on a corner in Liberty Station. The moment we walked in, we were greated by walls and shelves of wine, setting a sophisticated and inviting tone. The decor was warm and elegant, and we were quickly seated. Our host handed us menus along with a card featuring the special of the day: Lobster Fettuccine. It felt like fate, and I wasted no time placing my order. I’m so glad I did! The lobster was perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and the pasta was also very delicious. Every bite felt like a treat. This meal was a delight from start to finish, and I’ll definitely be back to explore more of Solare’s offerings. If you’re ever in Liberty Station, this Italian gem is a must-visit! Maybe reserve the table in the wine closet.
Great experience. From the ambiance to the service to the food, everything was spectacular. We dined indoors but the outdoor seating area is beautifully decorated with string lights, creating a cozy and welcoming vibes The lobster pasta, was rich, creamy, and the lobster was tender. It’s a must-try if you’re a seafood lover! For dessert, the chocolate mousse was the perfect ending to an amazing meal.
